For years scientists have studied a world un-seeable to the human eye. Many researchers have made huge discoveries observing the intricate design of the human body; having to examine from nanoparticles to molecules that our bodies and the world around us is comprised of. This research allows us to understand not just why, but how this Nano-world functions and with this knowledge comes the next step, Nano robotics.
Nanobots have always appeared in science-fiction films and novels, where tiny robots are injected into a body to help cure diseases, cancers, and even give superhuman abilities. Nanorobots have been the holy grail of medical science because of the advantages that come with it, imagine needing surgery and instead of being cut open you receive an injection containing Nanorobots that will repair any damaged tissue or body parts. Nano robots in medicine will replace modern medical treatment because rather then having to dose the body with medicine in order to attack any infection or diseases the nanobots will target and attack only the bacteria, virus, or cancer that’s harming the body.
The main reason to why Nanobots haven’t proliferated any robotic news yet is because of how intricate the robots must be in order to be able to complete any task within our complex human bodies. The human body is so intricate that its more complex then any robot ever built. The process of synthesizing material to work on alone takes countless hours to make then comes the testing. But, with this technology a new realm of medical procedures and technology will open up doors that will carry the human race further as a species.
New technology such as Nanoparticle robotics will aid us in the development and understanding of other new technologies. Allowing us to control and augment the world around us even at a Nano-level. Its only a matter of time before our understanding of robotics will allow us to develop Nanobots and with it a new age of robotics will open up to us.
The future of robotics is an ever expanding one and with it many new possibilities. What discoveries await us next? SolveLight Robotics wishes everyone to comment their opinions, comments, and questions to our Facebook page and blog. Let us know what you think, Thank you for reading!
