Pokemon Go is an Augmented Reality video game that has swept across the world in a phenomenon that only Pokemon was able to achieve. Millions of people across all generations have downloaded Pokemon Go for free located in your app store. Once you have the app, log in and start walking around in the real world to catch, battle, and become a real life PokeMaster. What’s even more amazing are people’s determination to become the very best without actually going outside and walking as the creators of the game intended.
Just days ago I found myself walking around my neighborhood in search of rare Pokemon and said to myself “wouldn’t it be great if I can just put my phone to a drone and play without needing to walk around.” Only a day later after having that very same thought I find myself watching someone attaching their phone to their DJI Inspire 1 and mirroring their phone to their laptop(See Video Bellow). That is only one of the many Pokemon Go hacks that are currently out on the Internet; other hacks involve strapping your phone to a train set, turntable, and even pets! You have to applaud the measures “lazy” people will take in order not to exercise!
As time goes on and more users start to play Pokemon Go the more creative and innovative the hacks will get. It’s great to see that the vast majority of people across all societies have taken the initiative to go out and explore the world and take advantage of summer while it’s still here. Augmented Reality has drastically impacted our society, as a whole making the future of AR very promising. A myriad of industries will be entering the Augmented reality space, influencing on how we advertise, provide health care, and other means of communication.
With progressive technologies such as AG on the rise we can only expect more innovative and creative games such as Pokemon Go to come. SolveLight Robotics wants our readers to voice their opinions, thoughts, and experiences on our blog or Facebook page. Once again thank you for reading!
